For Connie Allenby, tattoos are like painted memories. “They're usually about things that mean something to me,” she said while an artist at Chicago Custom Tattoo etched her latest tattoo on her back Saturday night. “Like this one is about one of my best friends.”Last night, Allenby was sitting in the same spot, getting a tattoo about her daughter as a celebration of her 32nd birthday.

Scorpion Tattoos
Feb 5th

Scorpions have nasty stings for such small creatures. Perhaps this is the reason why some people decide to get a tattoo of a scorpion to express that while they are small, they can take care of themselves. A scorpion tattoo looks great in color, but looks even nastier in black. The color is up to you, but a scorpion tattoo in color frequently adds more detail and has a softer appearance. Different people have different reasons for getting a tattoo of a scorpion. There are some people whose astrological sign is Scorpio so that’s why they get it. Other people may get such a tattoo because a scorpion looks so tough and fierce. The two primary reasons why people get tattoos are because they look great or they represent a person’s personality. Sometimes a tattoo artist will get creative. For example, they may have the scorpion coming out of your skin such as around the bellybutton. You can be as creative as you want. A tattoo should represent how you feel about yourself. The image of a scorpion on your skin tells other people that you are serious. While a scorpion tattoo may look tough, they can also have a softer side. For example, there are girls who get the tattoo of a scorpion on their ankle, which adds a softer touch to the tattoo. To show strength, the scorpion tattoo may be located on an arm. Frequently a guy will choose a location like a leg or an arm to show that they are tough. A tattoo of a scorpion that is large is usually considered masculine since the tattoo covers the whole muscle, rather than being hidden. Girls usually choose the stomach or ankle as the location of their tattoo of a scorpion to show that they are delicate but strong. Because a scorpion frequently lives in tough and hot areas, a tattoo of a scorpion shows that a person has the strength to live through hard times. It shows that they can stay strong and make it in difficult times. The tattoo of a scorpion represents force and power regardless of its small size. The design, meaning, and size are just some of the things to think about prior to selecting a scorpion tattoo. Before you get such a tattoo you should do some research on the Internet to look at various designs to find the perfect tattoo for you.

Miley Cyrus inks fifth tattoo on ribcage
Feb 5th
Miley Cyrus gets inked for the fifth time. The former squeaky clean Disney princess has added a fifth tattoo on her right ribcage, believed to be an image of a dream catcher as a tribute to her siblings. clearpxl Miley, 18, showed off her new ink during a casual day out in Hollywood. She was wearing a t-shirt with a large whole in the side that is placed conveniently where her tat is. According to a friend of the singer/actress, the photo represents older siblings, Trace (21) and Brandi (23), and younger brother and sister Braison (16) and Noah (11). The friend told People magazine, “It's a picture of the dream catcher that hangs over her bed with four feathers to represent her four brothers and sisters. She has another sibling, half-brother Christopher Cody from dad Billy Ray's side. He was raised by his mother. Miley has four more tattoos. One is also etched on her ribcage, just below her left breast. It reads “Just Breathe,” as a tribute to a 9-year-old girl she met at a hospital, and who passed away in 2007. The other three are an outline of a heart on her right pinky finger, the word “LOVE” inked on the inside of her right ear, and a small cross on her finger. The friend adds to the magazine, “All of Miley's tattoos have a deep meaning to her. They all represent family and friends close to her.”

Do what for Dale? Crash into the side of a not-to-scale building? Make a confusing unintentional reference to 9/11? Make a confusing intentional reference to 9/11? Whatever it is, I’m sure Dale gives it the thumbs-up, because that’s what he was doing in the first image that came up when I Googled him to find out who the hell “Dale” is. Submitted by: Unknown
